I am Currently fuming

I’m so tired of hearing rogue afghani soldiers killing and wounding our soldiers, young men with families, personalities, hopes and dreams

These boys are over there with the mission of assisting and educating afghani soldiers so that by 2014 Aussie soldiers do not need to be there.

My partner was meant to be one of the members of this task force and I begged him not to go. I am beyond amazed and thankful that he has chosen to stay here. It means everything to me, I can’t lose him.

I appreciate everything our diggers do for us, whether it be our war or not … These are human beings who have scarified their lives with the intention of helping others, and for that they are true heroes.

On remembrance day think not only of the young men who lost their lives in previous wars but also of the young men and women who have lost their lives in said “peacekeeping” missions.
